How to sell your art in TalaSamoa

An artist creates a free Tufuga account. You need an email address, a Samoa bank account to receive payments, and a Bio for your Tufuga profile page. A profile photo is encouraged but not required. Artists are able to link back to their own social media, or existing online stores.

Once your Tufuga account is approved, the artist can upload their digital product. For example, an ebook, a digital art print, an audio file. The artist sets a selling price, that meets the minimum requirements. List it for sale.

When a customer buys your product, they pay online to Tala Samoa using their credit card. The product is downloaded instantly by the customer. Tala Samoa tracks a record of your sales. The artist can log in to their Tufuga account any time and check that sales record.

At the end of each month, Tala Samoa pays the artist their earnings, minus the 40% marketplace fee. The earnings are paid direct into the artist's Samoa bank account. Tala Samoa also generates a sales report which is emailed to the artist.

Tala Samoa will do regular artist spotlights to help promote you and your art. Interesting news articles, videos, interviews, and more.

An artist will have the option to add related digital products as add-ons for their customers. For eg, when listing a children's ebook you can also list an audio file of you reading the childrens book. OR a video file of you reading the childrens book. OR a coloring book version of that childrens book for download and printing. A customer can purchase those additional products when they buy the ebook.

The artist retains ownership of their product. Tala Samoa is only acting as a marketplace for the artist to distribute their art to customers worldwide. You can take your books or art down any time you want.
